About Us

The Shady Grove Aquilino Cancer Center and the White Oak Cancer Center are two state-of-the-art cancer centers located in Rockville and Silver Spring, Maryland, serving the Washington, D.C. region.

In 2013, the Aquilino Cancer Center reimagined cancer care by becoming the first community-based, comprehensive cancer center in Montgomery County. In 2020, the White Oak Cancer Center followed and became the second comprehensive cancer treatment center in the Adventist HealthCare system.

Our teams at the Aquilino Cancer Center and White Oak Cancer Center aim to simplify treatment for patients while also providing exceptional care. At our centers, you’re more than just a number. We know and understand that life doesn’t stop just because you’ve been diagnosed with cancer. Our goal is to make your cancer treatment as simple as possible, giving you the gift of time by serving you in one location meaning less time is spent traveling to and from appointments.
