Many of the programs within our cancer centers are funded through generous community partners. A gift from you can make a difference for our patients.

Areas of Need

Choose to support cancer care by making a difference in:

• Cancer care - Your gift goes to support cancer treatment and other activities that support whole-person healing.
• Wellness programs - Our wellness programs focus on emotional and spiritual health which allows patients to have the opportunity to not only be treated physically, but also mentally and spiritually.
• Palliative care - These resources are available to patients as they navigate a diagnosis and go through treatment. They have the ability to receive treatments to assist them with navigating daily life and minimizing any side effects they may experience.
• Nutrition services - Nutrition can play a major role in a cancer patients journey to healing. By fueling their bodies with the right foods, patients can lessen side effects and stay on their treatment plan without any interruptions. Nutrition support is provided one-on-one and in a group setting.
• Bill Richards Center for Healing (Aquilino Cancer Center Only) - The Bill Richards Center for Healing was created to provide patients a space for healing outside of a clinical setting. The space houses wellness programs and is used as a research space for our partners at Sunstone Therapies.
• Cancer Research - At Adventist HealthCare and Maryland Oncology Hematology, our goal is to provide patients with the latest treatments available. Your donation to cancer research will allow patients to continue to receive access to the best treatments.
• Cancer & Aging Resiliency Program (White Oak Cancer Center Only) - Cancer can create additional challenges in our ageing community population. A cancer and aging resiliency program helps support those in our community who need additional care and guidance throughout their cancer journey.
• Healing Arts (White Oak Cancer Center Only) - Art provides patients with another way of expressing the thoughts and feelings they may experience during a cancer journey that words may not be able to convey.

• Host a Fundraiser - Plan a fundraiser to raise funds for a specific purpose to assist patients and serve the cancer community.
